Café Zorn

White Guide-recognized café serving homemade fika and lunch in the historic stables of Sweden's most famous artist home

Art, Garden & Fika

Just outside Zorngården, in the old stables, you will find Café Zorn, which offers both food and coffee. The setting couldn't be more perfect — after exploring Anders Zorn's world-class art and his beautifully preserved home, you can relax with a traditional Swedish fika surrounded by the same gardens that inspired the master painter.

The Menu

The café offers homemade bread, sandwiches, salads, and pastries. Everything has that homemade quality that's becoming rare — everything looks and tastes home made.

Expect Swedish classics like:

  • Homemade pies and quiches
  • Soups and salads
  • Pasta dishes
  • Fresh sandwiches on homemade bread
  • Traditional Swedish pastries
  • Cakes and desserts

Garden Seating

You can take your snacks and drinks outside to enjoy the lovely park. On warm days, sitting in Zorngården's garden with a coffee is a quintessentially Swedish experience. The same views that Anders Zorn painted are right before you.

Part of the Zorn Experience

When in Mora, maybe visiting Zorngården and the Zorn Museum, you should stop here for a 'fika'. The café is perfectly positioned for a break between the museum and the guided tour of Zorngården.
